What’s On Your Plate?

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant partners, understanding their needs and ensuring their expectations are met.
  • Ensure menu quality index, price parity, vendor funded deals, and drive affordability
  • Building new commercial relationships by renewing the existing contacts through offer
  • renegotiating, preferred partnerships, and upselling to new profitability levers
  • Own full performance of your portfolio, from sales performance, to in-store operations, to
  • marketing and growth strategies, and providing every-day support
  • Maintain a regular cadence of in-person meetings with all your partners in your assigned portfolio.
  • Provide excellent and proactive reporting to partners on performance.
  • Negotiate and acquire restaurants on different ads products to help boost their growth.
  • Ensure daily, weekly, and month targets are on track and with your team lead to ensure constant portfolio growth.
  • Maintain granular reporting on your portfolio’s performance.
  • Upselling new services to our existing restaurants such as logistics as a service, tPro, and various loyalty programs
  • Automate and digitalize vendor experience by pushing for vendor portal adoption, self service and self booking through talabat vendor dashboard

Specialist Marketing

Role Summary

We’re looking for a dynamic and data-driven Marketing Specialist to join our team, focusing on non-food verticals within talabat.

This role will play a critical part in developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns tailored to our non-food verticals—groceries, pharmacies, electronics, flowers, and cosmetics—enhancing customer engagement and driving brand growth in these categories.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of multi-channel marketing, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders to bring impactful campaigns to life.

What’s On Your Plate?

  • Campaign Development & Execution: Planning and execution of marketing initiatives specifically tailored to non-food verticals, including groceries, pharmacies, electronics, flowers, and cosmetics. Work with the team to develop campaign concepts, communications, and promotional activities that align with business goals and drive customer interest.

Data-Driven Channel Optimization: Leverage data insights to identify the most effective channel mix and target audience for each campaign. Understand the purpose of each marketing channel and adapt messaging to ensure maximum engagement and ROI.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with dark store General Managers, non-food teams, and category managers to understand business objectives across the non-food segments. Transform these insights into compelling campaigns and facilitate alignment on strategic goals and campaign expectations to ensure consistency in brand

messaging.

Campaign Analysis & Market Insights: Work closely with the Marketing Manager to conduct analysis on campaign performance, monitor customer behavior, and report insights. Carry out comparative analyses on market trends and competitive activity in each non-food category, providing recommendations to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact with relevant departments within both the Regional and Country Teams, gathering ideas and requirements for effective planning and execution. Ensure alignment of marketing strategies across teams to amplify the impact of each campaign.

Customer Segment Insights: Develop a deep understanding of customer segments related to non-food categories in Bahrain. Utilize these insights to build a strong foundational knowledge of the landscape and refine marketing strategies accordingly

Innovation & Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, consumer behaviors, and technological advancements within the non-food sectors. Proactively identify new opportunities for Talabat to engage customers through innovative campaigns by bringing creative ideas to the team that can be tested and scaled to keep talabat at

the forefront of the non-food market.

What you need to be successful
What Did We Order?

  • You have a degree in Marketing or related disciplines, with 2 years relevant working experience.
  • You have experience in working in FMCG or Retail organizations, preferably with e-commerce experience.
  • You have basic knowledge of, or have worked in CRM and used analytics tools.
  • You understand how to orchestrate and manage campaigns from A-Z and how to create a media mix that works.
  • You have strong analytical and problem solving skills, and are comfortable working with Google Sheets or Excel.
  • You have strong organizational & communication skills, and you are comfortable to present ideas and communicate between various functions.
  • You are a team player and love bouncing ideas.
  • You have experience in working to very tight deadlines and executing work accurately and quickly.

    • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate closely with teams such as the General Managers of dark stores, category managers, and non-food teams to understand business objectives and align marketing campaigns.
    • Internal Communication: Ensure that all stakeholders are aligned on campaign goals, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for consistency and effectiveness.
    • Brand Consistency: Work with various teams to ensure messaging remains consistent and supports overall brand strategy.
