Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. You will be required to perform regular patrols and respond to emergencies as needed.

Job Required:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and property.
  • Respond promptly to security breaches or emergencies and take appropriate action.
  • Control access points to restricted areas, ensuring only authorized individuals are allowed entry.
  • Write and submit detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders in case of incidents.
  • Assist with crowd control and safety measures during special events.
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff while maintaining a professional presence.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in security or law enforcement (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to stay alert and focused for long periods.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with composure.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From QAR1,500.00 per month

Duties & Responsibilities of a Security Guard

A security guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by protecting property, assets, personnel, and customers. Their duties typically include:

1. Surveillance & Monitoring

Patrolling assigned areas to detect suspicious activities, unauthorized access, or potential security threats.
Monitoring security cameras (CCTV) and alarm systems for unusual activities.
Controlling access to buildings, facilities, or restricted areas by checking identification and verifying credentials.

2. Safety & Protection

Responding quickly to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, or criminal activities.
Enforcing safety regulations and ensuring compliance with company policies and security procedures.
Conducting security checks on visitors, employees, and vehicles entering premises.

3. Incident Prevention & Response

Deterring criminal behavior by maintaining a visible security presence.
Reporting security breaches, vandalism, or suspicious activities to law enforcement or management.
Handling disputes and disturbances calmly and professionally.
Assisting in evacuation procedures during emergencies.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintaining security logs and daily activity reports.
Writing incident reports and filing complaints when necessary.
Recording details of visitors, deliveries, or unusual occurrences.

5. Customer Service & Assistance

Providing directions and assisting visitors in navigating the premises.
Escorting employees or guests to ensure their safety.
Handling lost and found items professionally.

6. Equipment & Security System Maintenance

Inspecting and maintaining security equipment, such as surveillance cameras, alarms, and radios.
Ensuring all security doors, gates, and locks are functional and reporting malfunctions.
