1. Preparing and Maintaining Laboratory Equipment
- Set up and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment before experiments.
- Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly sanitized and stored.
2. Conducting Experiments and Tests
- Perform routine laboratory tests, experiments, and procedures according to prescribed protocols.
- Follow safety and regulatory guidelines to ensure safe handling of chemicals and other materials.
- Record and document results accurately for analysis.
3. Handling Chemicals and Samples
- Prepare and handle chemical reagents, solutions, and samples in a safe and controlled manner.
- Collect, store, and label samples, ensuring proper documentation.
- Dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with safety guidelines.
4. Data Collection and Analysis
- Record data and observations during experiments.
- Assist in analyzing results, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data.
- Use laboratory software or spreadsheets to organize and analyze data.
5. Quality Control and Assurance
- Ensure that all laboratory processes meet established quality standards.
- Perform calibration and validation of laboratory instruments.
- Assist in preparing reports on test results and quality control processes.
6. Maintaining Safety and Cleanliness
- Follow and enforce laboratory safety protocols, including wearing appropriate protective equipment (PPE).
- Keep the laboratory clean, organized, and free from contamination.
- Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or accidents to supervisors.
7. Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with scientists, researchers, and other team members to support research and projects.
- Communicate findings or any issues encountered during experiments to supervisors or research teams.
- Attend lab meetings or training sessions as required.
A pharmacist is a healthcare professional who is specifically trained to store, handle, prepare, and dispense various medications. They play an essential role in educating patients about using or administering their medications.
- Greeting and welcoming patients.
- Verifying dosage on medications prescribed by healthcare providers
- Preparing prescriptions according to prescriber instructions
- Ensuring whether or not a particular medication will interact with other medications used by the patient
- Verifying that the patient is not otherwise at risk of adverse reactions caused by a prescription
- Educating patients about how and when to take or administer the prescription
- Advising patients about potential side effects of medication and answering any questions they may have
- Overseeing and managing pharmacy interns and technicians
- Basic record-keeping and administrative tasks, as required

Pay: QAR7,000.00 – QAR8,000.00 per month

- license from DHP in Qatar (Required)
