Job Overview

The Timekeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate attendance records, tracking employee working hours, monitoring overtime, and preparing detailed reports required for payroll processing and management review.

The role requires strong coordination with site supervisors, HR teams, and payroll departments to ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and labor regulations.


Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Maintaining accurate daily attendance records for employees.
  • Updating and monitoring timesheets and workforce work hours.
  • Tracking employee in/out timings, overtime hours, and leave records.
  • Coordinating regularly with site supervisors and HR departments regarding workforce attendance and working hours.
  • Preparing and submitting daily, weekly, and monthly timekeeping reports.
  • Assisting the payroll department by providing verified time data.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and attendance procedures.
  • Managing and organizing timekeeping documentation for audit and reporting purposes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates applying for this position should meet the following requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Timekeeper or in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in construction, facility management, or manpower supply companies is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of attendance tracking and payroll support procedures.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and timekeeping systems.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to manage and monitor large numbers of employee records.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following qualifications will have an advantage:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience working with biometric attendance systems.
  • Familiarity with HR reporting and payroll support processes.
