Main duties

  • Prepare the physical environment of the classroom for all lessons
  • Ensure and maintain the implementation of routines and procedures.
  • Assist with the display of class or subject materials, including those of students’ work
  • Work with individuals and groups of students as arranged by the class/ subject teachers
  • Assist with creating and managing extra school activities
  • Substitute for the subject teacher in the event of his/ her absence or elsewhere according to HOD or admin plan.
  • Attend all development workshops & admin meetings
  • Ensure that students meet the expectation of the school in term of behavior and discipline. Prepare stuff & apply her class motivational techniques and implement consequences with the class teachers.
  • Track students’ attendance according to school regulations
  • Contact parents with the teacher to check , inform and discuss their kids behavioral and absence issues
  • Keep detailed records / anecdotal note.
  • Distribute and collect administration’s letters and money
  • Supervise students according to individual duty outlined in duty schedule
  • Cary out such duties as may be assigned by principal , deputies , or HODs ( during substitutions

Main duties

  • Comply with the school’s mission, philosophy, system, and educational approach, and to implement such objectives throughout her duties.) Adhere to the dress code standards in the school)
  • Plan, prepare and deliver purposeful and productive lessons to assigned classes according to the educational needs, abilities, and attainment potential of individual student)
  • To mark and assess students’ work and provide them with feedback on their performance in timely manner.
  • To maintain accurate and clear student records to record their development, progress, and attainment (i.e.: attendance, grades, behaviors records, portfolios, student files).
  • To bring to the attention of the HOD, Social specialist، and the hallway coordinator about any problems relating to the student violent behavior, continuous absence, low performance, … etc.
  • Setting clear and high expectations for students and build a positive / respectful relationship.
  • Provide a safe, thriving, and respectful environment for all students in the classroom and on the school campus
  • To effectively implement the school academic curriculum and Al-Ru’ya Pastoral Program through the work undertaken in and out of class to best meets the needs of the individual learners.
  • To maintain their classrooms as warm and inviting learning centers using appropriate displays / resources; Store them appropriately, and to ensure that they are kept in good condition.
  • To collaborate, share, and plan effectively with colleagues in a respectful manner.
  • To undertake such supervisory duties and advisory program as may be assigned by at the principal.
  • To be prepared to provide support for other teachers in ways that are indicative of a team approach (i.e. covering classes, sharing supervision of students, interdisciplinary planning, and curriculum development).
