We are currently recruiting experienced Event Hosts and Hostesses to support an upcoming large-scale exhibition in Qatar, scheduled to take place in February. About the Role
The exhibition requires 80–100 skilled and professional hosts and hostesses to deliver high-quality, customer-facing services. Successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring smooth visitor flow, excellent guest experience, and culturally appropriate service throughout the event.
This role is ideal for individuals with previous experience in exhibitions, fairs, conferences, or large public events, particularly those who are confident interacting with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for a range of front-of-house and operational support tasks, including:
- Welcoming and greeting guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Assisting visitors with directions, information, and general guidance across the venue
- Managing queues and supporting effective crowd control
- Supporting VIP guests and assisting with protocol-based movements
- Providing support at registration and check-in desks
- Handling guest inquiries and escalating issues to supervisors when required
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism, appearance, and conduct at all times
Language & Communication Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Arabic
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Cultural awareness and professional etiquette suitable for events in Qatar
Duration & Working Hours
- Event Duration: Approximately 7 to 10 days, depending on the final exhibition schedule
- Working Hours: 8 to 10 hours per day, including official breaks in accordance with applicable regulations
