AFG College continues to strengthen its administrative and financial operations by seeking highly committed professionals who can contribute to the institution’s vision of academic excellence and student-focused service. The college is currently recruiting for two critical full-time roles: Accounts/Finance Assistant and Receptionist. Both positions are essential for ensuring smooth daily operations, efficient service delivery, and maintaining the college’s high standards of professionalism.


1. Accounts / Finance Assistant – Role Overview

The Accounts Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the financial integrity and daily accounting activities of the school. The position requires strong numerical accuracy, excellent administrative capability, and the ability to work methodically to produce high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and recording tuition payments, reconciling petty cash, preparing bank deposits, and maintaining accurate financial records. Duties include reviewing supplier invoices, managing cash and cheque transactions, issuing payment receipts, preparing collection reports, and supporting reconciliation tasks across bank, cash, and supplier accounts.
In addition, the role requires assisting the Accountant and Assistant Accountant with routine accounting procedures, generating invoices and payment notices for parents, and working with spreadsheets and accounting systems to maintain updated ledgers and journals.

Required Competencies

Candidates must demonstrate sound accounting knowledge, excellent organizational and administrative skills, and a strong command of spoken and written English. Attention to detail, accuracy in financial reporting, and a proactive, customer-focused approach are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office—particularly Excel—is required, along with the ability to adapt quickly to operational changes.
Professional appearance, effective communication skills, accountability, and the ability to address issues positively are key expectations. The role also requires commitment to school policies, safeguarding procedures, and participation in staff training, meetings, and school events.


2. Receptionist – Role Overview

As the first point of contact for AFG College, the Receptionist plays a central role in shaping the visitor experience and ensuring seamless front-desk operations. This position requires a highly professional, customer-oriented individual capable of managing multiple tasks with confidence and clarity.

Key Responsibilities

The Receptionist will greet and assist visitors, staff, and students while maintaining a well-organized reception area. Responsibilities include answering and transferring phone calls, responding to emails, directing inquiries, coordinating visits, and ensuring compliance with ID and security protocols.
Administrative duties include scheduling appointments and meeting rooms, supporting the HR and Administration team with documentation, distributing internal communication, and handling mail and parcels with accuracy and discretion.

Qualifications & Skills

Applicants should hold at least a diploma or degree in Administration or a related field, with prior experience in front-desk operations—preferably within an academic institution. Strong communication skills in English, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment are essential. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems.
