Job Description

The Projects Coordinator will play a key role in supporting and coordinating academic projects across the school. The role involves planning, monitoring, and implementing academic and IT-related initiatives that contribute to the school’s vision of excellence in education. The coordinator will ensure smooth execution of academic technology projects, provide support to faculty and staff in adopting digital learning tools, and oversee integration of IT solutions in the teaching and learning environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee academic technology and IT-related projects across different school divisions.
  • Support faculty in the effective integration of e-learning platforms, educational software, and digital tools.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation.
  • Provide technical and administrative support in deploying and maintaining educational technologies.
  • Assist in training teachers and staff in the use of new systems and tools.
  • Collaborate with IT, academic departments, and external vendors to ensure alignment with school goals.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and documentation for management review.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the school’s digital transformation strategy.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualifications (Core Specializations)

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following IT-related fields:

  • Information Technology
  • Computer Engineering
  • Computer Science
  • Software Engineering
  • Media Communication Engineering (specific to Maghreb region IT terminology)
  • Education (Computer Science specialization)
  • Bachelor of Education in Educational Technology and Information Systems

Related Specializations (Accepted as Equivalent)

Experience Requirements

  • Qatari Nationals: No prior experience required (fresh graduates are welcome).
  • Non-Qataris: Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of e-learning or information technology within an educational context.

Academic Performance Requirement

  • A minimum cumulative GPA equivalent to “Good” (above average) or higher in undergraduate studies.
