QatarEnergy: Company Overview
QatarEnergy, formerly known as Qatar Petroleum, is the state-owned energy corporation of Qatar. Established in 1974 and headquartered in Doha, it oversees all aspects of the country’s oil and gas industry, including exploration, production, refining, transport, and storage. As the world’s largest producer of liquefied natural gas (LNG), QatarEnergy plays a pivotal role in global energy markets.
The company operates major facilities such as the Pearl GTL and Oryx GTL plants, and the Laffan Refinery. It manages the North Field, the world’s largest non-associated natural gas field, and is actively expanding its LNG production capacity. QatarEnergy is also investing in renewable energy projects, including solar power plants, to support Qatar’s energy transition goals

1. Petroleum Data Analyst
- Location: Doha, Qatar
- Responsibilities: Analyze petroleum data to support exploration and production activities.
- Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience, Engineering, or related field; experience in data analysis within the oil and gas sector.
2. Assistant Buyer
- Location: Doha, Qatar
- Responsibilities: Assist in procurement processes, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; minimum 6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the energy sector.
3. ICT Technician
- Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar
- Responsibilities: Provide technical support for ICT systems, maintain hardware and software, and ensure network reliability.
- Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field; experience in ICT support roles
4. Drilling Supervisor
- Location: Offshore Operations, Qatar
- Responsibilities: Supervise drilling operations, ensure compliance with safety standards, and coordinate with onshore teams.
- Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; extensive experience in offshore drilling supervision.
5. Senior Drilling & Completion Engineer
- Location: Doha, Qatar
- Responsibilities: Design and implement drilling and completion programs, optimize well performance, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; significant experience in drilling and completion engineering.
6. Category Specialist
- Location: Doha, Qatar
- Responsibilities: Develop and manage procurement strategies for specific categories, analyze market trends, and negotiate contracts.
