Receptionist/Cashier
To put guest care as a priority, with every effort being made to meet guest’s needs with all comments/complaints being actioned, following procedures as laid down in the service standards manuals.

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report for work on time according to the weekly schedule and to be well groomed.
  • Assist in the production of daily figures of revenue and occupancies.
  • Handle and follow up complaints as per standard.
  • Ensure that covering letters, Passport copy and vouchers are attached to registration cards after checking in guests & take the proper guarantee from the guest upon check in.
  • Ensure that all wake-up calls are made on time.
  • Check daily reservation and make the allocation as well as checking any special requests accordingly
  • Fill properly guest’s information in the guest profile, any special preferences
  • Follow-up reservation requests after the working hours of the reservation department or in peak hours.
  • Ensure efficient check-in and checkout at all times, Follow and fulfill all check list tasks.
  • Communicate transportation issues (airport pick-up and airport drop) with the concierge.
  • Ensure and handle professionally bills postings, Double-check the bills especially the groups, handle payments on Cash & City Ledger.
  • Ensure that cash float is correct at all times, including small change
  • Report any short or over in cash to the front office manager or his assistant immediately, and to balance daily any short recorded by accounts.
  • Keep the Duty Mobile phone active at all times.
