Responsibilities:

Processing Transactions: Accurately handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
Maintaining Cash Register: Keeping the cash drawer balanced, reconciling transactions at the end of shifts, and ensuring all funds are accounted for.
Managing Returns and Exchanges: Processing customer returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies.
Product Knowledge: Being familiar with the products or services offered to assist customers and suggest additional items when appropriate.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the checkout area organized and clean, ensuring a professional appearance.
Handling Customer Complaints: Addressing any issues or complaints from customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
Stocking and Inventory: Occasionally assisting with stocking shelves or inventory management as needed.
