Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guard to oversee and manage the security operations of our organization in Qatar. The ideal candidate must be an Arabic speaker, currently residing in Qatar, and possess a strong background in security management, risk assessment, and team leadership. This role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, clients, and assets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
- Oversee all aspects of the organization’s security operations to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, protocols, and procedures in compliance with local laws and organizational standards.
- Coordinate with local authorities, law enforcement, and other agencies to ensure proper security measures are in place.
- Supervise and manage day-to-day security operations, including scheduling, monitoring, and evaluating security staff performance.
2. Risk Assessment and Management:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Implement proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
- Monitor and evaluate security threats, including physical, cyber, and operational risks, and respond effectively.
- Develop contingency plans for emergencies such as fire, theft, natural disasters, and other incidents.
3. Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of security personnel, providing training and guidance to ensure high performance.
- Conduct regular briefings with the security team to communicate updates, expectations, and feedback.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and preparedness of security staff.
4. Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure that all security operations comply with local regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, risks, and operational performance for senior management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security laws, best practices, and technological advancements.
5. Technology and Systems Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control, and alarm systems.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance the organization’s security posture.
- Ensure the effective use of security equipment and tools to monitor and protect company assets.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all security-related matters.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of security measures with organizational goals.
- Manage relationships with third-party security service providers and contractors.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a security management role, preferably in a corporate or high-profile environment.
Skills and Competencies:
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of security protocols, risk assessment methodologies, and emergency response planning.
- Familiarity with security technologies such as CCTV, access control systems, and alarm systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be a resident of Qatar with a valid Qatar ID.
- Transferable visa or Qatari residency permit is highly preferred.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
