Job Purpose

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the Technical and Engineering Department, ensuring that all aspects are organized, coordinated, and completed in a timely manner. This position requires a strong understanding of Windows & Doors, Structural Glazing Systems Conventional Curtain Wall Systems, Aluminium Wall Cladding Systems and Louvers., excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Accountability Areas

  • Preparing shop drawings and Fabrication Drawings and Cutting Lists.
  • Preparing Material Take off Work Order.
  • Prepare As built drawing.
  • Designing and Detailing of Facade Curtain Wall and window for Buildings.
  • Capable to handle software for Curtain wall, Doors & Window, which commonly used for Cutting List, Optimization, and Material take off.
  • Familiar in International and Local Systems for Aluminium Façades, Windows and Doors.
  • Evaluate and implement process improvements.

Skills:

1. Design and Drafting Skills

  • Shop Drawings & Fabrication Drawings: Proficiency in preparing detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for construction and manufacturing purposes.
  • As-Built Drawings: Ability to create accurate as-built drawings that reflect the final, constructed conditions.
  • Facade Design: Experience designing and detailing curtain wall systems, windows, and facades for buildings.

2. Technical Expertise

  • Facade Systems: Strong understanding of various facade systems, including Curtain Wall Systems, Windows & Doors, Structural Glazing Systems, Aluminium Wall Cladding Systems, and Louvers.
  • Material Take-offs and Work Orders: Ability to prepare material take-offs and work orders based on design specifications.
  • Cutting List Preparation: Knowledge of preparing cutting lists for materials based on detailed designs, ensuring precise and accurate material requirements.

3. Software Proficiency

  • Facade Design Software: Familiarity with specialized software tools for curtain wall, doors, and window designs. This includes tools commonly used for cutting list generation, optimization, and material take-offs.
  • CAD Software: Expertise in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, for preparing and refining designs, layouts, and detailed drawings.
  • BIM (Building Information Modeling): Experience with BIM software to create integrated designs and improve collaboration with other teams.

4. Collaboration and Communication

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams.
  • Client Interaction: Ability to communicate design ideas, explain technical details, and present design solutions effectively to clients and stakeholders.
  • Team Coordination: Capability to work in a collaborative environment, ensuring all team members are aligned on project timelines and deliverables.

5. Attention to Detail

  • Precision and Accuracy: High level of attention to detail when preparing technical drawings, material lists, and ensuring that designs are implemented accurately during fabrication.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring that the design meets the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics.

6. Process Improvement

  • Efficiency: Ability to evaluate and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce errors in the design and fabrication process.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills to identify potential challenges in designs and proactively find solutions.

Job Purpose

The Secretary for the Deputy Managing Director plays a crucial role in providing high-level administrative Assistant and secretarial support to the Deputy Managing Director (DMD) within an organization. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. The Secretary acts as a key liaison between the DMD and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and efficient workflow.

Key Accountability Areas

  • Administrative Assistance Support: Manage schedule, prepare documents, handle communication.
  • Communication Liaison: Primary contact for stakeholders, draft correspondence.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, follow up on actions.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel accommodations and itineraries.
  • Calendar Management: Efficiently manage the DMD’s schedule, including appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and organize documents, reports, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes, facilitating smooth and productive meetings..
  • Task Prioritization: Prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring the DMD’s priorities are met in a timely manner.
  • Project Assistance: Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the DMD, conducting research and providing support as needed.
