Essential Responsibilities and Duties
1. Performs general duties and responsibilities of an assistant according to established policies and procedures.
2. Assists in carrying out minor and unskilled maintenance works as assigned.
3. Assists skilled tradesmen in carrying tools and equipment to job sites and returns them back to the workshop.
4. Pulls out equipment for repair in the workshop and returns them back to the assigned location after repair.
5. Withdraw required spare parts from warehouses and deliver it to the workshop.
6. Ensures the neat and orderly condition of the workshop. Cleans job site after task completion.
7. Cleans job site after task completion. Assists in cleaning and checkingequipment.
8. Receives job directions from skilled tradesmen.
9. Follows all prescribed safety procedures.
10. Follows all Hospital’s related policies and procedures.
11. Participates in self and others’ education, training and development, as applicable.

Supervises the daily activities at the area of practice, and assists staff in solving operational issues. Responsible for verifying medication orders, dispensing medications, and counselling patients in accordance with accepted standards and established pharmacy policies and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Reviews, evaluates, processes, and double checks medicationorders for demographic data (e.g., gender, age, and weight), appropriateness oftherapy, dose, frequency, route, dosage form, interactions allergies, relatedlaboratory values, and possible drug interactions.
- Assigns and schedules staff incoordination with the Manager.
- Supervises, leads, and assistsin the daily activities of the staff. Assists staff in solving operational andprofessional problems.
- Assists the manager in providingfeedback on medication errors. Counsels employees as needed in coordinationwith area’s manager.
- Checksstaff quality of work by utilizing operational performance improvement programsand hospital accreditations (e.g. JCI, CBAHI, ASHP).
- Ensures the control and security of all medications includingcontrolled, narcotic substances and supplies. Maintains dispensing and recordkeeping as per laws and regulations.
- Supervises, precepts, checks, and monitors medication relatedactivities/performance of staff, residents, trainees/students with guidance andsupport from the manager as needed.
- Assists in liaising withmedical staff, nursing staff, supply chain, and other Health care providersregarding medication related issues.
- Ensuresthat a proper inventory of supplies is maintained.
- Participates in conductingperformance appraisals.
- Participates/assists in conducting performance/qualityimprovement projects.
