Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Trade , Corporate and Government clients.

  • Proven experience in airline sales or a related field minimum 2 -3 years in GCC.
  • Strong understanding of the airline industry and sales processes.

  • Direct reporting to Gulf air Country manager, under the GSA
  • Strong understanding of the airline industry, including ticketing, reservations, and operational processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Proficiency in sales and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Sabre Turbo).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • experience in developing and implementing sales strategies and promotional campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • Certification in airline sales or travel industry (e.g., IATA certification).

Job Description:

  • Responsible for interacting with Customers for Sales, Distribution, Merchandising, stock rotation cash collection and establish good relationship with Customer
  • Provides direct supervision to Truck Helpers / delivery assistants.
  • When required, Buddying with new recruits
  • Improvement of Share Of Shelf and excellence in marketing execution of activities
  • Responsible to achieve individual sales target (cash and credit), merchandising, market servicing and delivery.
  • Follow the journey plan to ensure the assigned customers are serviced.
  • Update the database of Trade Asset.
  • Deliver accurate and comprehensive competition activity report.
  • Reports on new store openings
  • Provide leave coverage when required
  • Executes new product introductions / promotions / projects within assigned territory
  • Operate efficiently allocating proper time for each Customer
  • Provides feedback to the next level on the distribution and customers issues
  • Works towards achieving own set objectives to ensure that department short term and strategic goals are met.

Skills

  • Minimum a Diploma in sales, business or relevant
  • 4 to 5 years sales experience in a similar capacity within FMCG / beverages / snacks industry is a must.
  • Medium Qatari Driving license is a must.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

About the Job:

· Develops new business leads for by actively researching the market and approaching potential customers.

· Familiarizing with all products and services offered by project & design team.

· Attracting new clients by innovating and overseeing the sales process for the business

· Develops and maintains a new customer listing, outlining scope of work and size of opportunity.

· Plans in advance a weekly call cycle based on the Customer listing.

· Receives and summarizes Requests for Quotations (RFQ’s) and passes these to Management for planning and costing.

· Develops and maintains general presentations suitable for customer briefings which highlight the company and its services.

· Acts as the Point of Contact for all potential customer enquiries up to the point of entering a formal agreement.

· Maintains a close working relationship with ABA Contracting Operations Teams.

· Works with the Operations Teams to match spare or underutilized resources with potential customers.

· Liaises with Group Corp Comm to ensure division marketing and media is current and relevant.

· Working with senior team members to identify and manage company risks that might prevent growth.

· Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients and negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive prices.

· Combining efforts and fostering a collaborative environment within the business as a whole.

· Communicating with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems.

· Creating positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients.

· Running outbound campaigns (phone calls, emails, etc.) to create sales opportunities.

· Developing and presenting proposals customized for each client’s specific business need.

· Ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow up

· Developing rapport with key decision makers and translating proposals into ready-to-sign contracts.

· Owning the sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation

· Managing virtual and in-person sales meetings.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Sales and Marketing or Operations Management.
  • Previous experience in the development of business opportunities in a service driven sector; ideally contracting, engineering, designing.
  • Experience of the Qatar and/or regional market is a must.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in English is a must, Arabic language is beneficial.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to present ideas to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Self-confident, knowledgeable and able to function at various levels in an organization.
  • Self-Motivated with good time management
