Security Guard
Overview: A Security Guard is responsible for protecting people, property, and assets by patrolling assigned areas, monitoring surveillance equipment, and responding to emergencies.
They act as a visible deterrent to crime and maintain a safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas: Regularly inspect buildings, grounds, and perimeters to identify and report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Monitor surveillance equipment: Observe video feeds to detect and respond to incidents, and gather evidence for investigations.
- Access control: Control access to buildings and restricted areas by verifying identification and issuing permits.
- Incident response: Respond to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances promptly and effectively.
- Report writing: Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and patrols.
- Customer service: Interact with visitors, employees, and tenants in a professional and courteous manner.
- Enforce company policies: Adhere to company rules and regulations, and enforce them consistently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid security guard license (MOI card)
- Previous experience in security preferred in Qatar or other GCC countries
- Strong observation and reporting skills (prepares Incident reports)
- Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods and managed conflicts within employees.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- With valid Qatar Residence Permit or QID.

- Monitoring and Patrols: Regularly patrol assigned areas to deter and detect suspicious activity.
- Access Control: Manage and monitor access points, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises.
- Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, or security breaches.
- Surveillance: Use CCTV and other monitoring systems to observe activities and record incidents.
- Reporting: Document daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences in detailed reports.
- Customer Service: Assist visitors and staff, providing information and addressing concerns.
- Enforcement of Rules: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Conflict Resolution: Mediate disputes and handle confrontations to maintain a safe environment.
- Emergency Preparedness: Familiarize themselves with emergency procedures and participate in drills.
