1. Senior Personal Assistant – LNG Trading Department

Role Purpose

This role is offered by QatarEnergy to provide high-level administrative and organizational support to the LNG Trading Department. The Senior Personal Assistant ensures the smooth execution of daily operations by managing executive schedules, coordinating communications, and overseeing travel and meeting arrangements. The position plays a critical role in enabling management to focus on strategic decision-making while maintaining operational efficiency and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing executive calendars, meetings, and official correspondence.
  • Coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements.
  • Preparing professional documents, reports, and presentations.

Experience and Skills

Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise systems is considered an added advantage.

Educational Qualifications

2. Treasury Back Office Operations & Reporting Lead – Group Companies

Role Purpose

This role is offered by QatarEnergy to oversee Treasury Back Office Operations for Group 1 companies. The position is responsible for treasury reporting, accounting, and the secure execution of payments and settlements related to treasury financings and deals. It plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, strong internal controls, and regulatory compliance.

In addition, the role serves as the primary focal point for Internal Audit, External Audit, and State Bureau Audit, ensuring audit readiness and transparent financial reporting across the group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing end-to-end treasury back office operations and settlements.
  • Overseeing treasury accounting, reconciliations, and reporting activities.
  • Ensuring secure, timely, and compliant execution of treasury payments.
  • Coordinating with internal, external, and regulatory auditors.
  • Maintaining strong governance frameworks and internal control systems.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing treasury and finance teams.

Experience and Skills

Candidates are expected to have 10–15 years of experience in medium to large organizations, with strong exposure to accounting and finance functions. Prior experience in the oil and gas industry is considered a strong advantage.

Advanced knowledge of computerized business environments is essential, including MS Office, MS Power BI, SAP TRM, or similar enterprise ERP systems. Proven leadership, people management, and coaching skills are critical to success in this role.

Educational Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or Accounting is required. Globally recognized professional certifications such as CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent are highly valued.
