Security Supervisor Responsibilities

A Security Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within an organization. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising Security Personnel: Oversee and coordinate the activities of security guards to ensure adherence to established protocols.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and effectiveness of security staff.
  • Monitoring Security Systems: Regularly inspect security equipment and systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Incident Reporting: Document and report any security breaches or incidents promptly and accurately.
  • Policy Implementation: Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.
  • Liaison Duties: Act as a point of contact between security staff and management or law enforcement agencies.

These responsibilities are essential for ensuring the safety of personnel and property within an organization.

  • Administer security policy, procedures, and programs to ensure effective and professional security operations throughout the academy and its attachments.
  • Manage all academy and accommodations-based security guards.
  • Determines any special security needs for public meetings or academy-wide activities.
  • Manages the hiring, training, assigning, and evaluating of all security personnel.
  • Produces an ongoing staff professional development program for academy security personnel that meets or exceeds the industry’s best practices.
  • Develop procedures and protocols to prepare for, prevent, respond to, and recover from emergencies and maintain the academy Crisis Management Plan.
  • Administers the Security section budget.
  • Identifies legal issues or concerns and researches and implements solutions.
  • Participates in training and professional development to increase individual skills and proficiency in the assigned duties.
  • Develop and implement prevention strategies.
  • Models nondiscriminatory practices in all activities

Any other related tasks requested by the management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From QAR3,000.00 per month
