Gloria Events & Services is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is critical in supporting the company’s accounting and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting system.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Support in preparing budgets and forecasts.
- Handle invoices, receipts, and expense reports with accuracy.
- Assist with tax filings and compliance with local financial regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality of financial data and adherence to company policies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Familiarity with local financial and tax regulations is a plus.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
