The SBW Berlin Scholarship for International Students supports talented young people from abroad who have already shown social commitment and who use the skills they have acquired during their studies during and after their studies in social projects at a non-profit\/social organization in their home countries.

Our scholarship recipients work on social projects during their studies in Berlin. Ideally, these projects are part of the charitable work of organizations based in their home countries and\/or contribute to improving living conditions there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After successfully completing their studies, our scholarship recipients are expected to continue the projects in their home countries and to advance them through the skills they have acquired here. SBW Berlin continues to support them in an advisory capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2705 Monthly living allowance of up to \u20ac550<\/strong>.

\ud83d\udccc Must have professional or volunteer experience<\/strong> in the social or non-profit sector.
\ud83d\udccc Should not have resided in Germany for more than 18 months<\/strong> before applying.
\ud83d\udccc Must have a university entrance qualification<\/strong>.
\ud83d\udccc Must commit to working for at least 18 months<\/strong> in their home country after graduation or participating in charitable projects in Germany.
\ud83d\udccc Should have a low-income background<\/strong>, as per the scholarship guidelines.
\ud83d\udccc Must have a minimum academic grade equivalent to 2.0 in the German system<\/strong>.
\ud83d\udccc No first-degree relatives<\/strong> residing permanently in Germany.
\ud83d\udccc Applicants can apply before starting their studies or if they are enrolled in the first, second, or third year<\/strong> of a degree program at a recognized university.<\/p>\n\n\n\nAdditional Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udd39 Scholarship recipients must participate in a social project<\/strong> during their studies (between 2 to 8 hours per week<\/strong>).
\ud83d\udd39 Must maintain good academic performance<\/strong> throughout the scholarship period.
\ud83d\udd39 Required to attend regular meetings and workshops<\/strong> at SBW Berlin.
\ud83d\udd39 Must submit project reports and participate in presentations<\/strong>.
\ud83d\udd39 If students do not complete their studies<\/strong> or remain in Germany after the scholarship ends, they must repay the scholarship amount<\/strong> within three months<\/strong>, payable in 12 monthly installments<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
