Engineer – Project Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your future role<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The role holder is responsible for Undertaking management and execution of projects and initiatives identified<\/p>\n\n\n\n

by the Shipbuilding Planning & Control Function to drive timely completion. This includes managing all phases<\/p>\n\n\n\n

of execution including scope of work definition, timely completion of milestones, identification and mitigation of<\/p>\n\n\n\n

risks, periodic quality monitoring and successful handover of project outputs to relevant stakeholders upon<\/p>\n\n\n\n

completion<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key responsibilities<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Assist in defining the project management methodology and framework under the guidance of the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manager, Program Management & Planning<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Plan, execute, and monitor ship production projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to project scope, schedule, and quality standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Develop detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures, milestones, and deliverables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Identify and mitigate project risks, develop contingency plans, and resolve issues that may impact<\/p>\n\n\n\n

project timelines and objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular updates to<\/p>\n\n\n\n

stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Assist in managing ship production contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with terms,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

conditions, and specifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Monitor contract deliverables, milestones, and obligations, ensuring timely completion and adherence<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to contractual requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Assist in managing address contract-related issues, claims, and disputes in collaboration with relevant<\/p>\n\n\n\n

stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Maintain accurate contract records, documentation, and correspondence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimates, forecasts, and expenditure tracking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Monitor project costs and variances, identifying areas of concern and implementing corrective actions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Conduct cost analysis, evaluate cost-saving opportunities, and recommend strategies to optimize<\/p>\n\n\n\n

project expenditures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and financial analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Participated in project cost audits and reviews, providing necessary documentation and insights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Perform day to day activities related to Project Management and the team while coordinating with other<\/p>\n\n\n\n

functions within IMI in order to ensure that the ongoing projects are properly promoted, communicated,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and executed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Manage the approval process for change requests which have impact on program scope, schedule<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and\/or budget<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Provide input on appropriate cost-effective methods to enhance or replace current processes, thereby<\/p>\n\n\n\n

optimizing ship production\u2019s project life cycle cost and operability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
